Can't make calls and incoming getting disconnected.

Can't make calls and incoming getting disconnected after a while. When dialing I can't hear anything and tried calling a friend and he confirmed that I can't connect. Already did multiple restart, shutdown for a minute, safe-mode, checked that I'm not in airplane mode. Nothing solves it. I can receive text and have mobile data though. Can't contact customer support since I can't make a call and the website is suggesting a chat but after logging in it's just returns me to the prepaid home screen.

Hello @Istan2019!

It's no fun when you cannot keep the conversation going when your phone calls are getting disconnected, allow us to be of assistance!

We would recommend using our AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool  buy selecting the device you currently have, select Phone Calls under Service/Network issues, and follow the prompts to help troubleshoot your cellular connectivity.

Have a great day!

Hi @ATTCares,

Followed the trouble shooting link and it still not working. I tried it again in the office earlier and I can make a call over there. But at home I can't make any call even if I have 3 bars of signal (tested just now). I'm guessing it's due to the signal, even though in AT&T's website for coverage says my area is well covered. Someone suggested Wifi Calling but unfortunately it's not available if you have an unlocked phone from Best Buy.

Thank for replying back to us @Istan2019!

With the information provided, it shows there are no cellular interruptions in the Manchester area. But we want to make sure at that you will continue to have wireless connectivity the best way possible.

In the meantime, you can also use our Mark the Spot Article to help report any service disruptions, so we can further look into and help provide network improvements.

Hi @ATTCares,

By the way the weird part is, I have LTE signal and can watch youtube vids @1080p resolution without any lag but can't make calls. Note, Wifi is turned off so it's not because of that. Is there any way "Wifi Calling" can be enabled on an an unlocked phone? I think that will be a viable solution for not able to make calls. Google says usually it only comes pre-installed with phones that came from carriers. And I think signal booster will not be that effective considering the scenario that I just said (have LTE but can't make calls).

Update: I just retried it. I can see that when I tried to call, the signal went from LTE 3 bars to H zero bars. It's like switching band when calling and call signal are bad.

Hi @ATTCares,

Looks like it is signal for voice bandwidth issue as I had a friend of mine try calling at the same time inside our apartment complex and she can make calls through Verizon but I cannot.
