What is my recourse if AT&T Autopay mistakenly over bills my account?

If amounts in account balance are non-refundable, what is my recourse if AT&T mistakenly over bills my account?

ATT generally does not refund prepaid but it has been known to happen. You would need to call. If you were charged more than what was required to renew your plan (which should only happen if you changed to a lower plan just before your renew date), the excess should be sitting on your account as a balance. That balance will get used when your plan renews next month. There should be no reason to ask for a refund.

ATT doesn’t get to decide if they give refunds, when they’ve taken funds that aren’t supposed to be taken.  That was laws decide, not some one who has been promoted to spread the company’s policy!

Did you ever get a refund?  I am going through the same issue.  Paying more than what I owe for months and months.
