promotional free samsung smart t.v. fiasco

I changed my wireless provider to ATT in April 2016. After months of waiting, I received a television. It was cracked in hundreds of places and came with no assessories (including a power cord). They stated that I would receive a new t.v. on their receipt of the broken television. It has been sent back. In the meantime, Ingram Micro sent me a television that was lost by the FedEx delivery driver. She dropped it off at the wrong address and it disappeared. Samsung Promotions state that they don't know anything about the television and that they ship exclusively with UPS. I filed a claim with FedEx that was denied since I was the recipient and not the shipper. I spoke with Ingram Micro and they stated that ATT has to file the claim. I have no idea who to contact to solve my problem. Anyone have a phone number or contact information? Thanks in advance

Hi @bobbyg1952!

I’m so sorry to hear about all the trouble receiving your free Smart TV! That would be frustrating to anyone, especially if you had such a poorly handled TV delivered!

The promotion is handled and process by Samsung, so one would assume that they would be the go to on these matters. Our information recommends contacting the TV offer team by calling Samsung at 800-726-7864 and using the word promotions, however it sounds like you’ve already been attempting this.

I’m not entirely clear where IM is coming into play here. Certainly they are a large electronics wholesaler and distributer of Samsung products. Perhaps they were trying to fulfill the replacement on the behalf of Samsung? Just a thought!

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention! Have a great day!

The replacement has to be processed through Samsung.

I know that but they are impossible to deal with since they have very poor
customer service and you get transferred half a dozen times and still can't
resolve the issue

In fairness to ATT and Samsung, my replacement television is on its way.

I have not received my promotional tv. I have called Samsung and att numerous times. I feel that they are both a scam. this has been going on since March 2016. I have reached out to the better business Bureau and consumer affairs.
