free HBO

Hi, I got a text message that says "Thanks for selecting an AT&T Unlimited wireless plan which includes HBO."

But when I go to the AT&T site to sign up, it says "It looks like that mobile number isn’t eligible for our limited time offers."

So, do I get HBO and how do I sign up?

Hello @timminer,

Getting a text message about your plan and HBO can be a fun surprise to get! I will be more than happy to help get you the information!

After looking into your inquiry, I have found a fantastic forum’s post with information about getting HBO! I recommend taking a gander at it and follow the steps within!

I hope this information helps! Have a fabulous day!

Hi Katie,

Thanks for trying to help. I follow this advice, it comes back and tells me
my number is not eligible for these savings and I need to upgrade. This is
after the message that tells me I get to enjoy FREE HBO.

No one has been able to help me within AT&T. You were the first who tried,
but alas, the method you suggested has already failed.

Hi Katie, to follow up, this was the situation:

- I did not know, but I already had a DirectTV Account (set up long ago)

- Upon checking, HBO does work on that account - for free!

- When I went to verify my number, I got the error message saying that I need to upgrade my AT&T account in order to upgrade even more than I already had.

- This confused me, since I was unaware that I already had HBO turned on.

Summary: All is complete now, all works. Thanks for your help.
