at&t thanks two ticket tuesday

can anyone tell me how to use the buy 1 get 1 ticket twosday  deal when the tickets are $5 on Tuesdays? I tried to use it on Tuesdays but it still charges the ticket as regular price. leaving me out of this benefit and just buying 2 tickets at $5 each as is if I didn't have this benefit. Are we able to use the at&t thanks benefit on Tuesdays when the tickets are $5? Am I doing something wrong on the app? can anyone help please? thanks

To get your free ticket, you have to log in to the Thanks app using your AT&T Access ID. Once you click Claim Now, you'll see the nearest participating theaters, a movie to select, and showtimes. When you pick your two tickets, you should see a promo code "courtesy of AT&T" applied to the order with the cost of the ticket. If you're not doing that, that would explain why you're not getting your free ticket.

That said, AT&T Thanks doesn't have a $5 ticket program, just a buy-one-get-one-free program. If the $5 Tuesday promotion is through a local theater, AT&T Thanks may be exempt from it. The terms: "Buy one ticket for any Tuesday showing of a standard 2D movie at select theaters, get one of equal or lesser value free for the same movie."

so this promotion is pretty dumb right. You STILL have to pay, and its the OTHER (friend, family member) who actually gets to see the movie for free. LOL What a rip off ATT

I don't really see how it's a "ripoff." That's how "buy one get one free" promotions work. You still have to pay for one of them. If you want to get the free ticket, have the other person pay you back for their ticket. It's not like you're paying extra for the Thanks program, so you're not losing anything on the deal. If you don't like it, don't use it.

The app goes only to ‘select seats’ and just stays there and the ball just spins. App not working now, Worked for me two weeks ago. I shut down phone, restarted it, & signed out and in to the AT&T thanks app; still hangs on ‘select sests’.

Before COVID started, I went every Tuesday to a $5 Tuesday movie which helped a retired couple. They shutdown for a period of time due to COVID. We switched to another one that was $6 until they got back going again. Now they are shutdown supposly building a new one. But AT&T THANKS did not go there.

Since then our Regular $5 Tuesday has reopened and now AT&T Thanks is saying they don't do that price no more.

So how is this helping out the ones who are tight on cash. ALot of Thearers are doing a lower Tuesday price to get the ones that can't go on weekends in or the ones that can't afford it.

But many of the movies live stream the day they are released at a cheaper rate. We go to get out of the house.  So again why is there a need for AT&T Thanks program. It's not for the ones in our shoes.

We understand the importance of enjoying the rewards and offers while being a valued AT&T customer @

Please understand that some AT&T Ticket Tuesday features are currently unavailable with no ETA at this time, as well as the ongoing pandemic which can impact specific promotional/rewards offers.

In the meantime, you can continue to Access the AT&T THANKS Website to review any new and current promotions that are still available.

We hope this information helps, and do apologize for the inconvenience.
