Voicemail is stuck in a loop of asking for English or Spanish

My password was recently reset for my voicemail. When I went to call my voicemail to setup it up I hear asking to press 1 for English and 2 for Spanish. I press one and then it asks me the same question again. I could repeat this forever.

Oh no! I know how confusing it can be when trying to set up voicemail, only to have it get stuck on a loop.  It will be my pleasure to help!

 

What might be happening is the network is not refreshing itself.  Please do me a favor and power off the device completely > remove the SIM > clean gold contacts with a soft cloth > re-insert into phone > power phone back on, and test.

 

Our Device Support page has great step-by-step guides on how to remove and re-insert the SIM card! Once you go there, please select your phone’s make and model, and then go to Tutorials > About Your Device > Insert SIM/Phone Assembly.

 

I also advise checking out our Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool! It is a fantastic resource which can help diagnose what the error is, and provide steps on how to resolve it! After you select your phone’s make and model, please go to Services/Network issues > Voicemail.
