Multi-line setup
I am on a $45 plan, renewing 9/20/17.
The member I want to add, is on $30 plan, that renews 9/26/17.
When is the best time for me to to add this member? The day before my plan renews?
We are both on auto pay now.
If I add the member the day before my plan, I would be charged $40 for mine and $20 for his? And then would I get credit for his days not used? And when would I get the credit?

With AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line Discount, you receive a monthly discount based on the number of lines added.
Keep in mind all lines must be on a $65, $45, $35 or $30 monthly rate plan to be eligible. Also, if you are enrolled in AutoPay prior to April 22, 2017, it is important to re-enroll to receive the discount.
We recommend waiting until the day before the plan is due to renew before joining a Multi-Line account. After the existing line has joined as a member, the account owner will receive a credit, in real-time, for any unused days left on the member’s account. For more details, please click here.
