Lost phone & Insurance
I've been paying insurance on my daughters phone since she got it a year ago. She just lost it and now I see we were supposed to have an app other than find my iphone on it! Has anyone had experience with this? The salesman never told me about this!

I never heard of the insurance requiring a certain app or they wouldn't pay or is it in the terms of the insurance contract. Contact the insurance company and see what they say.

I’m sorry to hear that your daughter’s device has been lost! I can confirm that @kdfederer is absolutely correct. There is no need to have an additional app installed on the device to be able to replace the phone via insurance. The app you are referring to is likely the AT&T Lock and Locate app which just helps find the device if it’s still powered on and connected to the network.
