Login to SmartLimits app

I have no issue logging in to SmartLimits on a browser, but when I try to use the app I get [Error 2-9] and a message stating that my wireless account is not associated with my AT&T account. How do I correct this?

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums!

 

I apologize that you are having an issue with our Smart Limits tool. You have to make sure that your wireless number is associated with your myAT&T account. Please make sure that you can login to your myAT&T account for that number. Just in case you need to register, I have included the steps below.

 

You need to be on the login page using the myAT&T app or from our mobile site, or on the myAT&T login page from our full site, to complete these steps. 

  1. Select Register today! or Register.
  2. Select the account type and enter the requested information.
  3. If you received a validation code, enter it. Or, enter the password for the account.
  4. If prompted, indicate whether you are the account owner, meaning your name is on the bill.  Or, if you don’t own the account, provide the account information to gain access. 
  5. Create your ID and password. (On the app, you can choose to save your password for easy access the next time you log in.)
  6. Agree to the Terms & Conditions.

 

If you do have to register an access ID, once you are done attempt to login to Smart Limits again. If the issue persists, we have a tool where we can mirror your account online and make sure it is setup correctly. We will be glad to assist you if need be.
