How long to return phone after upgrading on Next

I recently upgraded to a new phone and want to know how long do I have to return the old phone to AT&T.

 

I spoke with with a customer service rep and he told me 30 days after receiving the new phone. I initially called because I read somewhere AT&T was to mail you some sort of package which you use to send your phone back to them, but while speaking with the CSR I was told they just email a shippping label. Long story short: I just checked my email and found the email from AT&T that said the phone I’m returning was due on November 10. 

 

Which one is correct and what do I do now?

If your phone was shipped to you, it should have come with return materials and label.  If you do not have the materials anymore, or purchased the phone in store, we can email you a shipping lable.  Please send us a private message to @ATTHelp with your full name and account number, to get the process started.

I am ashamed of At&t. I'm more ashamed of myself for actually falling for the lies. The trade-in offer is a complete scam. They claim you can get up to $800 dollars that will be applied to your phone purchase. Received my new phone and everything is great. Got an update on my trade. Guess what I get for a mint condition Galaxy S8? $22.50. The comments said it wouldn't turn on and the screen was cracked. WHAT?! It didn't have one scratch or crack! Now, since I only got $22, my phone bill is too expensive for me to pay it. My phone bill was $95 a month for unlimited that included the price of my old phone....that I just paid off. My bill would have been $75. Now it's $130+...Very shady move at&t. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years!
