Can't unlock phone from third party retailer. Device not "paid off yet"
I just bought a phone from a third party retailer that was "like new" and I can't unlock it to use on my carrier (T-Mobile) because it's not been paid off according to the unlock portal. What can I do to resolve this and use my phone?
Thanks for posting. I'm sorry but not much can be done here. The original owner has to finish paying for the phone before it can be unlocked, there are no exceptions. I recommend contacting the seller to explore your return or exchange options.
