AT&T's default browser homepage won't allow me to log in with my credentials
So I'm playing around with a new phone I got and I'm getting a bit frustrated. The phones default home page, start.att.net, which I've never paid attend to before, lets you sign in with your AT&T credentials. However, every time I've attempted this, the same message pops up, "We are sorry, but you are not authorized to access this web site. Please verify you are authorized and re-enter your User ID and Password." What the heck is this all about?

Hello @SoCalWendy!
Not being able to login to view your account is concerning. I understand it is important to view billing details and make changes to your service. I can definitely help with this!
Since you are receiving this error message upon login, I recommend logging in on AT&T’s Account management page. This is the recommended website for login for Wireless accounts. I suggest testing your login here, as it will assist us in determining if the problem lies with your login credentials or the actual webpage.
Another excellent account management option is the myAT&T App. This is a fee app which can be downloaded on the Google Play Store, or the Apple App Store.
Please let me know if this helps. Have a wonderful week!

Hello again @SoCalWendy!
Thank you for your prompt response in this matter. I appreciate you have taken the initiative to try out your login information for me!
Since we have clarified you are able to use your login credentials with your other services, my next recommendation is to attempt sign up for the att.net account service. This will entail connection to our latest updates, connections and more. For complete details and to sign-up, please click here.
Also, when you are at the sign in page on att.net, keep in mind you have two optional tabs at the top of your screen. There is a att.net tab and a att.com tab. This will also allow you to choose which account you wish to login with.
Please reach back out if you are successful in accessing the webpage. I hope you have a great day in the meantime!

I just tried looking at that site, this is what I saw:
Register

Either your session has timed out or you have tried to enter the
registration in the middle of the flow, which is not a supported entry
