AT&T Locker Shutting Down

AT&T Locker is being discontinued on September 27, 2017. Be sure to download all your content ASAP.

Ways to download AT&T Locker Content
For the best, most complete download experience, we recommend using the desktop AT&T Locker application to save your Locker photos, videos, music, and documents.

Note: Once you have downloaded your content, we recommend leaving all content in your Locker and logging out of Locker on all your phones, tablets, and computers. This will prevent any additional syncing of content. It’s important to note that if you delete content from your Locker, it will also be deleted from your synced devices.

Re: AT&T Locker Shutting Down

I have been attempting to get into AT&T locker to complete moving my information and the system has been down for about 4 days.  I have managed to download most of my information to my computer and in doing so I deleted it from my AT&T locker so as not to get confused.

Since Monday I keep getting the message that there are technical issues with Locker and it will not allow me to access any of my remaining data.

I have called tech support twice (August 1 and August 3) and each time I have been advised there is a server issue but no Estimate of when, or if, it will be restored.

Can anyone advise how we should access the remaining information we have on our account so it can be downloaded?

Re: AT&T Locker Shutting Down

Hi Joyce,

Give it another shot, the performance issues seem to have cleared up, I've been able to log in and download without any issue.

Also, it looks like the date of shutdown was extended due to the previous issues.

Good luck!

Re: AT&T Locker Shutting Down

I don't have locker, I.already made sure I didn't have anything and I'm still getting pop up message on my phone, literally every 2 seconds tonight(I'm counting). I contacted chat about it 2 days ago and was told it was taken care of and it's worse.I'm ready to leave this company it's so bad at this point. I can't do anything in my phone because it keeps popping up in the way I have to constantly close or of it. If I acknowledge it, it takes me to a sign on screen which took me to page that told me I didn't have locker. Now since it's discontinued it takes me to an informational page. It's ridiculous. Make it STOP!!

Re: AT&T Locker Shutting Down

Hi @Gretchen7821,

I am sorry about the issues you are having with your AT&T Locker. I know it must be frustrating to continuously get these notifications. I will be glad to help get this fixed for you. With some phones, AT&T Locker may have been put on that device when you purchased it. Check the applications on your phone to see if you see it in the list. If so, you can delete the app or go to the Locker Menu > Settings > What to Back up, and unselect all categories.

If still having problems, let me know:

  • What device you are using?
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or a mobile network.
  • Are you seeing the app on your phone?

I hope that this fixes it for you. Let me know how it goes.
