I got an attm settlement check today. The bank said its routing number didn't exist and won't cash it. What should I do?

**Solution**
If you have a check from "ATTM Settlement" with an invalid routing number, due to a printing problem, the resolution was to go to http://attmsettlement.com/ scroll to the bottom of the page, and fill out the online form. You will need the check number printed on your check. The next day I received an email stating that a replacement check would be sent within a month.

Same for mine and my wife's. The printer used was apparently defective so there is a vertical blank line where nothing printed.

I also have a bad routing number on my check. The cashier at the bank tells me that there are "many" of these checks that people have tried to cash with her, and they must be reissued by ATT. If a random teller at my bank is aware of this problem, I find it hard to believe that AT&T is not aware of it, and is not proactively fixing it. Since other people will probably be searching for a way to get it reissued, let me list the things that will not work:
* My bank tells me it cannot be cashed in it's current form
* Don't bother with the AT&T support phone number. After being on hold for 15 minutes, a non-native speaker will become totally confused, and have no idea what you are asking about, and transfer you several times. When your lunch break is finally over without success, you will finally just hang up.
* If you try Chat, and get Samantha B., she will insist that AT&T has never issued a bad check. She's pretty insistent that this is completely impossible, and you are mistaken.
* Then I googled a while and found a Federal Trade Commission dedicated to settling AT&T lawsuits.(www.ftc.gov/enforcement/cases-proceedings/refunds/att-refunds). Called the number and they tried to help, but eventually learned that they only covered one particular lawsuit, and my check was apparently for a different AT&T lawsuit, so they cannot help.
* Found this forum next. I will next try the website mentioned by Chris above (http://attmsettlement.com/) . Wish me luck....
AT&T, just do the right an reissue the bad checks without being asked by each individual.

I recently received a settlement check in my deceased spouses' name, which my bank would not accept. Advise to request that the check be reissued in my name: Thomas *** Acct.# **********. The check has been misplaced.
