AT&T TV App Support

The AT&T TV device is Powered by Android TV, which gives you access to thousands of apps on the Google Play Store. Expand your viewing library with access to other Apps.


To sign in to your Google Account, if you have not done so already on setup.

  1. Press the Home Button on your remote.
  2. Scroll to the Gear icon on the right and press OK to access the settings.
  3. Scroll Down to Accounts.
  4. Scroll over to Google Accounts.
  5. Select Add Account.
  6. Follow the onscreen sign-in instructions.

Heads up: To use the Apps within the AT&T TV device you must sign in to your Google Account. If you don’t have a Google Account, you can create one at no charge. If you're having any trouble with your Google Account or need help setting one up, visit Google's Account support site

 

Preloaded Apps 

Netflix Bleacher Report VRV YouTube KidsApps
DC Universe Pandora Boomerang Google Play Music
YouTube Google Play Store Google Movies Google Games

Heads up: Preloaded apps on the AT&T TV device and cannot be deleted.

 

Purchases

Purchases within the Google Play Store or in App purchases are made on your Google account. This is not charged to your AT&T account and is not linked to it.
The Google Play Store has settings for parental controls and to control unwanted purchases. These settings do not affect your AT&T TV experience and are limited to the Google Play Store.
Apps purchased through another device may require you to purchase the app through the Google Play Store for each compatible device.

 

Uninstall Apps

  1. Access the Apps Menu by pressing the Home button and going to Apps or pressing the Diamond button on the bottom right of the remote.
  2. Scroll to All Apps to view a list of all your Apps.
  3. Highlight the App you wish to uninstall.
  4. Press the button to get a list of options and select Uninstall.

Closing the App

  1. Access the Apps Menu by pressing the Home button and going to Apps or pressing the Diamond button on the bottom right of the remote.
  2. Scroll to All Apps to view a list of all your Apps.
  3. Highlight the App you wish to close.
  4. Press the button to get a list of options and select Force Quit.
