# weeks and still no land line

i have been trying for 3 weeks to get a land line installed in my apt so my daughter can live with us. Its for a monitor. This is my fifth attempt. I started this 3 weeks ago so it would be done in time for her release, obviously 3 weeks wasnt enuff time. I have att web and they keep turning on the modem phone, even tho i have been very specific about this land line. They tell me how sorry they are, that itll be on in 2 or 3 days, and then they turn on my modem phone again. I was even charged for the modem phone once, but they took that off and credited me. i just dont know what to do. Do any other companies offer land lines? I am 2 days away from having to tell my daughter she cant live with us because att doent know the difference between a land line and a digital phone from the modem
