Re: att dug a hole in my yard with no notice or authorization from me

Same crap happened to us today. Saw them take off right when I pulled up. They threw stuff and cut wires that were in my LOCKED yard. The gate with access is low. Wish my dogs had been out to get them.

Neither of you say if there's a utility easement on your properties.  Even if there is that's no reason to not clean up, but it does give them a right to access if there is one.

Re: att dug a hole in my yard with no notice or authorization from me

There is a utility pole in the yard diagonal to mine, those people will not let ATT access, they were told to get police escort if that happens. My yard was a mess and completely locked up. They cut wires and accessed my property with no one home and drove away right when they saw me pull up.  I don’t mind them there, but with permission. They are very lucky my dog was not out.

Re: att dug a hole in my yard with no notice or authorization from me

They have authorization to access their phone lines aa long as they are with in city permits which is sidewalks, but they don't have a right to go into peoples properties they also left a mess in my yard the replaced sod was layed over on top of old one and dried out. They also broke my aprinkler head and did not replaced them. The left over dugged up dirt they went into my back yard to dump in my recycle and trash bin I almos got fine by the city for this.

Same thing in Lou Ky. Installing their fiber network that I want nothing to do with.

started digging in the easement, which is fine, but they didn’t stop to think or ask if there was underground irrigation, which there is. And they hit it. And now they are digging beyond the easement to try to repair it. Can’t wait to see how this goes and what my yard looks like in the spring. This will be fun to deal with and bring up with my city council.

City council will not get involved I had the same issue with them breaking
the irrigation pipes it took a good 3 months of going back and forth for
them to fix and even then they didin't leave as it was. It was a pain to
deal with the sod they replaced also didin't match the original sod so I
had a big uneven darker sod patch in my yard.

Re: att dug a hole in my yard with no notice or authorization from me

ATT contractors drove vehicles in my backyard this morning when it was wet from all the snow and rain. They dug holes and made a huge mess of my yard.  They DID NOT give us any kind of heads up that they were going to be working.  We have a puppy and have an underground fence system for him. I am extremely angry that we were not notified.  We told them to get off our property until someone with authority could give us proper notification so we could have the dog secured and make sure they do not cut the pet fence.  They refused. I'm calling the police.

Well, guess what...?  They are outside of the easement.  I am very familiar with the restrictions and they have equipment all over my property tearing it up outside of the easement.

Re: att dug a hole in my yard with no notice or authorization from me

ATT has been to my property three times now. All times unannounced. The pole they want to access is on my neighbors property, but its "easier" to access from my side of the fence. I have a fully fenced and gated property so they cannot just come in. First time, guys honk their horn for several minutes straight until I walk down to ask what they need (already annoyed because I was in the middle of something else). They said they needed to take a picture of the pole. The were in an unmarked vehicle with no ATT identification and were very rude. I said no. Mostly I did not trust they were there with good intentions (you never know these days). Next time, a nicer guy comes and I happen to be outside. He has an ATT hard hat on and presents me with a badge and asks to take a photo. I say ok and let him in. He takes a photo, gets my phone number, and says they may need to come out to work on it BUT WILL CALL AHEAD. I say OK but I will not give them access if I cannot be home (we have horses and dogs and a secure property for a reason). Today while I am getting ready for work a truck comes honking and yelling. I cannot be home and they did not call. I can't believe how rude these guys are. Respect my property and my request to have an appointment scheduled ahead of time. How hard is that?

@lkw0209you might check and see if theres an easement on your property,if there is then they do not require permission to enter the property nor is it required to call ahead although common decency would be for them to alert you of their intentions. if there is no easement then you are well within your right to refuse them access.trespassing is trespassing any way you slice it
