Unable to make or receive calls. Repair service not responsive

I filed a trouble report yesterday and was "told" it would be repaired by 8pm as it was a known outage. Still not working. How can I contact an actual person? I have tried the web but selecting chat just leads me to an automated tool which tells me they missed the schedule date (no kidding) but provides no updates. Tried all the listed phone numbers including the number which says it is available 24/7 for technical support but only get automated nonsense which eventually tells me the office is closed. Typical phone company run around.

Sorry to read of your loss of service and appointment trouble. What services do you have? U-verse or DSL?
