Re: Landline

Your current account is?

If have Uverse IPTV and or Uverse (ATT) internet can add a VoIP line.

VoIP is voice over internet protocol, the service would come from the Uverse gateway.

This would allow for bundle billing on a single bil!.

If desiring a traditional POTS line, provided from a CO (central office) instead of gateway...

Not eligible for bundling, have two separate billings, expect cost to be double.

Would need to call to see if POTS is available in your area.

Re: Landline

Thank you for your reply.

Currently have POTS over copper via VERIZON w AT&T as longdistance carrier (not all eggs in same basket). What else would I or you need to know? Both companies have been serving my home over copper for 20+ years.

I understand the technology and potential of fiber and VoIP and I definitely am NOT looking to go that route in this inquiry.

From whom would I get info about initiating this? I cannot spend all day in call-center loop being upsold stuff I definitely don't want.
