You can easily access voicemail by dialling *98. If it asks for pin dial last 6 digits of ur uverse billing account number. You can also access the Voicemail using www.att.com/myuverse

How do you set up a pass code to retrieve messages for digital phone service? I was not given any instructions on how to set it up for my outgoing message or how to retrieve messages.

You can easily set PIN accessing Voicemail *98 and your default PIN is last 6 digit of your Billing account number.
