noisy phone line

Question

I have all 3 uverse services and with my phone service there is electric noise on the line. I installed a dsl filter at the wall jack for my one phone but the noise remains. Is there something else I need to do?

red devil - Plug the phone into the tel 1/2 jack on the RG (Replacing the wire now there & connected to the wall jack). If it is still noisy call for repair. If it is not still noisy, the problem is in the house wiring.

Maybe you do not need to use the house wiring. Leave the phone connected to the RG.

Maybe you can verify the house wiring is not connected to the U_verse broadband connection or to the NID.

If you need at&t repair for house wiring it is billable, unless you pay the monthly mtce charge
