Can I set up a voicemail text notification to my AT&T wireless number?

I see that I can access voicemails associated with my landline via the myATT page. By any chance can I set up a text notification to my AT&T wireless number? Thanks

Hi There @DMMisner

Thank you very much for posting. Now in looking at your question, we need to know if you have AT&T Digital Voice(U-verse or Regular Landline service)?

Now if it AT&T Digital Voice, its not exactly a text notification process, but more then a email notification.

You can follow the instructions that are listed below:

  1.  Log-in to the Customer Access Portal and use the primary ID and password.
  2. Click Home Phone > Check Voicemail > Voicemail Settings.
  3. On the Voicemail Settings tab, under Voicemail Mailbox Preferences, expand the Message Forwarding section.
  4. Verify Message Forward is set to ON.
  5. Select the Actions drop-down > Forward incoming messages and keep original.
  6. Enter the forwarding email address (only one email address may be entered in the email Address field).
  7. Select the Include message management links in forwarded message checkbox.
    • Message management links enable customers to perform actions such as deleting messages or marking them read, empowering them to be more efficient in managing their messages. To fully utilize all message management links in their forwarded email, select Forward incoming messages and keep original
    • Upon receipt of the first forwarded message with management links, select a message management link. They are asked to authenticate with a pre-populated 10-digit TN and the PIN used to log into the AT&T Voicemail mailbox from the phone.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Verify Message Transcription is ON
    • If not, expand the Message Transcription section and select ON > Save.

Please let us know if this is what you are needing.
