Poor service from AT&T on continuous land line problems

Currently our home phone has been out since 7/4/19. Going on 5 weeks now! We’ve spent hours and hours calling AT&T (on cellular phones) trying to get the status of this repair order and have been told numerous excuses (most of which turn out to be lies) and we still can’t get to the bottom of this. We have found that the tech manager does not receive timely work orders, has very little communication with her field technicians and has no idea where the ball got dropped on this particular repair. We’ve been provided multiple dates assuring us problem would be resolved but it never happens. Our phone service has been intermediate at best for the last 2 years with continuous battles to get reimbursed for all the down time that they continually charge us for - after promising we would not be charged for this. Is AT&T intentionally attempting to get rid of residential land line customers?

We’ve reported this outage to that number over and over for the past 5 weeks. Finally got a direct phone number to the field tech who eventually provided a direct number to the field tech manager. The manager was unaware of our outage even after our continuous reporting. Nice interdepartmental communications AT&T.

I provided my account number and contact info as you requested in your private email. I got only the same form letter giving the phone number to contact for AT&T repairs. Our phone was out for over 6 weeks and this is supposed to be acceptable service to customers. At least now I know how sincere your concern is.
