Down phone line in my yard

Hello-

 

I am no longer a ATT home phone customer, however I am an ATT mobile phone customer.  I called a week ago to report a drooping phone line across my road.  A crew responded and cut the drooping phone line, I assume to avoid causing a traffic accident.  Also they tied each end of the cut line with red flags.  We would like a ATT crew to return and take the 100 yards of phone line out of our yard because one end is still attached to the pole in our yard.

 

Because I am no longer a home phone customer I haven’t been able to talk to anyone at ATT that can help.  I’ve been transferred from one place to another, had my calls disconnect during transfers, and give wrong other numbers to try that are no longer in service (I.e 866-577-7726).

 

I was told this would not be a problem if I was a current customer.  What does one do if we are a former home service customer.  Which department, or who can help me get this down line resolved?
