AT&T property easements

How much notice time is AT&T required to give a property owner before entering a property to service AT&T equipment . Is access restricted to normal business hours, or is it anytime of the day or night?

Hi @Userto,

When it comes to easements, usually the utility company does not need to provide notice when working on it, but the rules vary for each jurisdiction. Along with that, work performed has different rules based of the type of work and abides by the local law.

We have had workers here all morning digging up the entire side yard of our home with a digger.  Not one of them knocked on our door to let us know that there would be work performed today or what they would be doing.  This is the second time they have been out in a coupl months.  Last time they were here they put the wrong seed in and now we have different grass growing up.   A one minute conversation with us today to let us know what was happening wouldve prevented a lot of time spent trying to contact supervisors and slowing up the work outside.
