Phone funtionality
Currently, I have a ZTE cell phone, Z222, WX8A, 1.0.9. My friends sent me texts / MMS notifications, that cannot be retrieved. What phone can I upgrade to that can retreive these messages and photos?

You probably are not receiving the MMS messages because you need to have data turned on in order to get them.
If your Z222 does not support this, any 3G smartphone should be able to get the messages.
I used to have a cheap Irulu phone which worked great (www.irulu.com).
I eventually got the gift of a neat LG stylus phone which works good.
Of course you can spend more and get a Samsung or iPhone.
By the way, if you switch over to a new phone, I doubt you will be able to receive those particular messages which were sent in the past, but you will be able to receive any future MMS messages easily.
