Pay my go phone bill

When I signed on for my go phone at AT&T in the store, I was asked what date I wanted my payment taken out, I told her on the 5th because I get my check on the 3rd.  They always take it out on the 30 or 31, how can I get it changed.  It messes up my acct every month.
