No service abroad on GoPhone
Hello all,
I am using a GoPhone sim card on my Google Pixel. When travelling abroad, I previously didn't have issues on my old phone with getting service. I'm not interested in the passport plan, I just want to be able to send a text message in case of emergency and such. Now I get no service and cannot emit calls or text messages wherever I am outside the US. Chat is not available for GoPhone customers and I cannot call the free number as I have no service in the first place. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Gophone never can roam "abroad'. You have to buy a local SIM card to get local service.
Gophone $60 plan can roam in Mexico and Canada only.

Sorry, you are out of luck. Gophone service does not support international roaming other than Canada and Mexico. Your gophone service will not work. You couldn't buy a Passport plan if you wanted to, those are only for postpaid customers.
