I am in The Netherlands for business. My Iphone indicates "NO SERVICE". Why my phone was not activated for internal travels

Gophone does not support international roaming other than Canada and Mexico. Your gophone service will not work in the Netherlands.

No GoPhone service outside of North America.

Sorry, there is nothing to activate since you don't have a plan that works in the Netherlands.
