Moved, how can I change my GoPhone number to a new local one?

Question

If the answer is to talk to AT&T customer service, please tell me how. The only contact numbers I can find are 611 from the gophone and 800-901-9878. Both go to the same GoPhone voice menus that do not have any obvious way to get a live person. Thanks.

PROBLEM SOLVED! Once a helpful person at an AT&T store told me the secret of getting a live person for GoPhone support, I was able to change my number to a local one quite easily. In case anyone is wondering, here's the way. You call the 800 number in my previous message. Choose 'more options' at the end of the first menu. Then during the second voice menu, say: 'Customer service' even though it isn't one of the options.
