Is it possible to change my number?

I used my card while in the US this past summer.  I will be coming back to the US, but in a different city (same state, different area code).  Is it possible to change the number on the account/card, or do I need to buy a new card once I arrive?  It would just be really nice to be able to use the card as soon as I arrive.
