How can I extend the Rate Plan Expiration Date

I currently have the following account summary

Screen Shot 2013-12-08 at 12.02.02.png

My question is: will I not able to make phone calls on Dec 23 2013 since that is the expiration date for my rate plan. I have just added 60 dollars into my account, but the Rate Plan Expiration Date has not been extended. I am worried about I will not able to call or text after that date. Could anyone tell me what I should do to extend the rate plan expiration date?

Thank you very much!

Your RATE PLAN expiration date will only be extended when your plan renews by itself on December 24 12am central. The $60 on your acct balance would pay for your monthly plan on dec 24. It would automatically renew by itself, and your rate plan would extend for another 30 days.

You will be able to make phone calls and use other functions of your phone on the 23rd. The plan officially expires at 11:59 P.M. on the 23rd and then starts another plan/billing cycle.
