GoPhone activated but website says otherwise

Yes,

I just recieved my AT&T Nokia Lumia 520 GoPhone and I activated it according to the instructions.

 

Unfortunatley, when I go online to add airtime, the website says the number isn't valid.

 

When I dial 611 from my GoPhone, I get the same error message.

 

I called AT&T customer support and got nowhere. The website wouldn't let me do a live chat.

 

I'm about ready to throw my phone against the wall.

 

Please help!!!!

It sounds like the activation didn't actually go through. I would recommend trying the process again and seeing if it takes the second time around. If that doesn't work head to an att store and they can set it up for you no problem.

It's not that. It's a website issue on AT&T's end. When I log into AT&T, my GoPhone service should be listed alongside my home phone service but it's not. It's like my order never existed.

Try that, the reason I think the activation might not have gone through is that you would have been able to get through to 611 on the go phone had it been activated. Did it assign you a go phone number yet?
