Changing Plan

Hi,
I'm going back to China during summer. In order to keep my number, I would like to change my gophone plan to the 25 cents per minute plan. I'm wondering that is there a minimum amount for me to refill the balance so the new plan could work?

Thanks!

No, there is not a minimum for the plan but I believe there is a $10 minimum for a refill. The issue to worry about though is refills expire if not used. Refills of $10-$24 expire in 30 days, $25-$99 expires in 90 days and $100 or higher expires in a year. If your account balance is $0 for more than 60 days, your account is closed and your number is lost. The best way to ensure you keep your number and don't lose any refill funds to expiration is to fill with $100.

If you still have money left in your account.
The balance will extend as @sandblaster say ,
"Refills of $10-$24 expire in 30 days, $25-$99 expires in 90 days and $100 in a year "
I will refill $100 before you go back home for summer holiday.
As you know AT&T  Gophone has no roaming service in China.
