Can't log in to GoPhone account

I just installed the sim card, activated and want to log into my account to add service. I enter the phone # and pin and get:

"The wireless number you entered is not associated with a valid GoPhone subscriber. Please check the number and try again."

This is a phone # that I asked to have ported during sign up, do I just have to wait?
