I want to upgrade my internet to 75, but I have 50 now and it has never exceeded 25.  If I upgrade will I actually notice a difference?

Thinking about going back to Spectrum.

Testing hardwired (ethernet) to pc or laptop?

Using speedtest.net?

To local ATT server, staying on network?

With no other devices or activity in use consuming bandwidth?

Gateway?

If wireless using the 2.4Ghz band or the 5Ghz band?

Re: prove it

running test thru pc direct line.Using multiple sites to speed test. all devices experience weak speeds. The internet is just not fast enough, and I would pay more to increase speed but not confident it would work.

Re: prove it

Access gateway, post stats, looking for user rate, max rate, noise margin...

Have Uverse IPTV service?

In use?

For 50/10 internet the user rate should be either 55 or 60 down.

Max rate should be at least 125% of user rate.

Billing shows Internet 50 not Internet 25? They are the same price, provision is based upon facilities available.

Are you bonded pair?

Internet 50 could be single or bonded depending on copper loop length. The 75 requires bonded.
