So frustrated with AT&T internet services !

Fixed wireless internet, U Verse, Fiber you name it NOT AVAILABLE that's been the story for me for the past 40 yr's. AT&T sure wants the rural America money but they don't have much intentions of providing any of the above name services. Cannot count the times I have heard coming soon. To never happen. So what's the truth when are the services to be available to rural  American?

I've had fiber in front of the house for over 10 years there is not fiber
from the pedestal to the house it is still hard wire. I have signed up to
be notified a lot longer than that. I know the hub is about a mile from my
house but in all these years there's been no progress to move it forward. I
also understand it's not cost
Confucive for ATT when comparing a rural to a large City for the same cash
outlay and return. So WHAT'S the answer for rural America who gets on the
list and patiently waits for the call that never comes.

Read the article for reasons why:

  1. Distance – If you are too far away from the equipment providing the signal, certain services may not be available. This means a neighbor may have it but the service or certain speeds are not at your address. 
  2. Equipment is not available – U-verse equipment must be in the area. We do not have information if or when it will be. Your address will appear online once equipment has been placed. 
  3. The area is not built for U-verse – some areas are not U-verse ready. The ATTCustomerCare team does not have information if or when it will be. Distance and equipment can play a key in instances like this.
  4. Another competitor provides service in the area.
