Existing customer with 24 Mbps looking to upgrade to Internet 50

I'm an existing customer from about 3 years. Currently, I have a U-verse bundle with U-300 and the 24 Mbps service. I would like to see if i could upgrade to the Internet 50 bundled along with the U-300. When I go to do that, it says that the max allowed service for my account is the 45 Mbps. However, if I go in as a new customer, it allows me to pick Internet 50 as a choice as it is available in my area. Is there any way that I can switch to the Internet 50/U-300 bundle without having to cancel my account and open a new one?

Hi,

I'm in talks with the ATTuservercare facebook group, I've been wanting to see if ATT can fix my address in the dbase so I can get internet 50, I'm stuck at internet 25 right now, the vrad is right outside our mobile park. I'm probably around 800-900 ft from it. I've been reading all the talk over at dslreports on how to get this fixed but getting through to someone past the sales reps are tough. Any advice on how to get the word to someone in engineering, thanks in advanced.

AT&T please upgrade ALL areas running 25Mbps to at least 50Mbps:  with the circumstances we are in right now, many people work from home, at least two or three adults in a multi family household and kids homeschool, so we’re talking at least four or five accounts streaming at the same time.  25 Mbps hurts everyone daily life and internet issue should be the very very last in the list to worry.

Hello @JudyM12,

We thank you for being a valued AT&T customer. You make a great point in these times internet is very important.

As long as the speeds are available in your area you can actually upgrade your speed in mere minutes.

  1. Go to your Account overview.
  2. If you have more than 1 account, choose the one you want to change.
  3. Select Change or manage my plan.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • View your current plan or package
    • Change plan or channels
  5. Follow the prompts to finish up.

We hope this helps @JudyM12, please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
