Re: Data Cap

Which service (ATT DSL or ATT Internet)?

ATT DSL (PPOE) has always had a 150G cap.

ATT Internet (formly called Uverse Internet) had a 250G unenforced cap for many years.

This changed a last year (May 2016) to an enforced  data cap based upon speed tier of 300G, 600G or 1T.

In August 2016 all speed tiers went to 1T data cap.

Unlimited data is available on these accounts by either....

  • Subscribe to unlimited for extra $30 per month
  • Have either Uverse Ufamily or DirecTv Select package or higher to have the $30 unlimited fee waived.

Thus if your an internet only or internet/VoIP account, or Internet with Ubasic tv have a data cap of 1T with overages charges that cannot exceed $100 per month. If legacy DSL has a 150G cap.
