Please explain further what you mean by that question. Are you talking about a Windows Network setting where it shows that your network is Public / Private or something else?

All devices connect to wireless gateway except 1 Dell laptop. I think the network is Public but not sure.

When you are on a device over the Wifi, bring up the setting for your WiFi Network. If the tech set it, or it came defaulted on "WPA," security, and you had to, while others visiting with their devices (Kids, friends with smartphones) etc. have to be signed in with your Wifi Password/Passkey, you are private & protected.
If not, go into your modem (http:// (Wantever IP # is on your modems case), scroll down to Wifi security, or "Authentication type" (May be say something different, depending on type of Modem/router, and make sure it is set to, "WPA," and make sure you have a Password, a good secure one, that you CAN REMEMBER :-).
