Spotty wireless connections.
Our wireless internet is spotty throughout our house. We have had a tech there fairly recently on another issue and the box was replaced and repositioned to the best location possible. I purchased a wireless booster that does not really seem to help. It is a ranch home so no upstairs or basement. Any suggestions?

You might want to load inSSIDer here: inSSIDer for Home – Discover The Wi-Fi Around You | MetaGeek and run it to see if you can determine the least congested wireless channel to use, then change the channel on your AT&T router and see if that helps improve things.
Also older cordless phones that operate in the 2.4GHz range effect wireless performance. The newer cordless phones are DECT 6.0 and don't effect it.
Edit: This explains it pretty well: CompTIA® Network+ Exam Cram, Third Edition > Wireless Networking > Factors Affecting Wireless Signals - Pg. : Safari Boo…
