I recently bought a new construction home. I had to fight for one month just to get phone service there. (Landline) I finally got it yesterday.
I was told when I moved in the uverse is not available because I'm too far from the hub. There is dsl capability in the box right next door to my mailbox. I dont understand why my neighbor right across the street can use this very same dsl box for internet, and i cant. If uverse is not an option, why cant we use dsl?
at&t phased out dsl years ago and those that have dsl are grandfathered in, and they arent allowing any new dsl . so if your neighbor cancelled today, then changed his mind he would not be able to get his dsl back.
