The short story is I called AT&t on December 10th. I spoke to an agent in Ohio named Teresa who promised me that if the internet service did not work out for me I could return the box and I would get a refund on the installation fee. I confirmed this at least three times over the phone with her
I also took good notes and my husband was listening on speaker .AT&t came in on the 17th and installed the internet . the service was not what I planned for and I returned the box.
Now AT&t is saying they are not going to refund the installation fee to me because there was no notes in the account that that was promised to me
.I have the agent's phone number and I spent an hour and chat with AT&t customer service and they won't budge. I'm extremely disappointed in the service and support for a customer who has been loyal for 15 years. AT&t is a bait and switch company .
