"Software Update Available" message. What do I do?

"Software Update Available" message. What do I do?

On my TV, I get a message that says "Software update available" and there is a box to click "yes" but I can't find what to click.  I click "OK" on my remote and nothing happens.  What do I do?

That message pertains to your TV and NOT the Uverse box.  Uverse updates automatically via the RG (modem).  Either switch the function mode to "TV" and hit OK (not sure it this will work) or use your TVs remote.

 

I've had UVerse for over 7 years and have never had to "update" anything.
