U-Verse High Speed Internet my butt.

I can never play games without having high pings. I use to use dsl and I would get about 50 pings in league of legends and counter strike global offensive. But after switching to uverse about a year and a half ago (worst decision), my ping for league of legends has been 140-150 and counter strike has been 190-200 ping. I am now fed up with the slowness of the internet. We payed for 6mbs download speed but we only get 3mbs. Here's the proof: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4302153125. I hope ATT fixes this or else I'm moving to another ISP

Your link comes upto a 404 page, not on the website.  Either way I'd contact ATT Uverse Care on the link in my signature.

Send them a private message, on this link, and they should be able to give the help needed to solve your Uverse service Internet speed problems. They are available M-F 8am-11pm Eastern time (also around on weekends), response may take up to 2 business days.

This is not the regular CS/TS phone people, but the social media Community Specialists that know the people to contact to get things done. I personally know as they've helped me on a DVR swap and gone above and beyond.

Include your name, account #, email address and a good phone # (land or cell) and time to contact you on.

Check the blue PM envelope, upper right on every page, for their reply. Good luck 😉

Edit: You have an extra '.' at the end of your link, erasing in my address bar brought up your speed test.

Have you contacted Customer Support about the slow speeds?

That is your first step to see if the problem is fixable.

Edit:

Do what mibrnsurg said to do.

Chris suggested the best route to go to get help with the speed problem.   I just checked the speed on our service.  We pay for 18 mbps down.  Here is how it tested out on my laptop....connected wirelessly.

Two or three years ago we did not get this much speed but AT&T must have made some improvements somewhere along the line.  The TV was running on U-verse at the same time that I ran this test a few minutes ago.

I might also mention that early on....we found that our Internet really slowed down in the evening after everyone in the neighborhood got home and got on line.  I checked and found that all my neighbors were on the 2.4 gHz Wi-Fi band.  So I purchased a NetGear dual-band router and set our home network up using the 5 gHz band.  No local traffic there and that was the end of that speed slow down in the evenings.  It would be nice if AT&T would add 5 gHz capability to their RG.

Look at the top right corner of any page of your bill. A 9 digit number.

Are you doing the speedtest wired or wirelessly? Wireless probably won't be as good as wired.
