Is it possible to set up the router or internet somehow to turn off the wifi at a certain time each night? I want to still be able to watch tv.

You need the gateway to watch your tv unless you watch tv off an antenna.
No, there is no way to turn off the wifi automatically in the gateway on a timer.
Could get a router with parental controls and connected it behind the gateway that might do what you want.
