Slow connection using Google, Facebook, and certain sites after recent upgrade (2Wire/Pace)

If you are experiencing issues with loading certain sites, sites not loading completely, it is recommended to disable IPv6. The following goes over steps for a 2Wire/Pace gateway.

For steps for NVG Gateway, go here.

Certain web pages won't load.  (www.americanexpress.com, support.apple.com)  While others load without issue.

Problem happens on my desktop with wired ethernet connection and windows 10, my laptop on wireless with windows 7, and iphones, ipads.  So the problem must be in the Gateway settings.

Technician came out and could not solve.  He had the same problem on his own iPhone.  He switched out the Gateway and it didn't help.

I added this 2001:4860:4860:0:0:0:0:8888 DNS Server to my iPv6 Internet Protocol and it fixed the issue on my desktop.

Sooooo  How do I fix it on the gateway so all my other devices will work?

There are lots of messages in the log files for my modem, but I"m not sure which ones may have a clue about the issue.

Any ideas?

This did not work for me. However changing my wifi from 'auto select channel' to fixed channels did work.
