Parental controls on Internet

Do you have parental controls to protect my minor from porn sites?

@Parent2

No, that would be impossible. Additionally, how do you intend to control nude selfies using some type of messenger service? Try not to push proper parenting off on someone else.

Thank you for your response. @ApexRon
Parental controls are for parents to control the amount of obscenity their children may view, even accidentally.
Wait till you become a parent. 🤔

[Please keep it courteous.]

AT&T provides a Parental Controls software package that runs on Windows 7 and Windows Vista PCs.  If your children use only computers on that platform, then it may be of assistance.

Otherwise, no, AT&T provides nothing to assist you.  You'll need to investigate other services (there are quite a few) or devices (yep, more than one category of devices) to assist you in that regard.

What I meant to say ... Yes...it is possible to have parental controls available via a Wi-Fi modem that can be device or person profile specific. Xfinitiy XFi has done it but they definitely have bugs to work out. That just came out in July 17 I think. When it was working it was WONDERFUL. I could turn their access to the internet on and off by device or profile from anywhere via the app. I was also able to set bedtimes and additional parental controls form the content they could access via their devices. So ATT...if xfinity did it...why can't you? Parents NEED this control. This capability is not taking the place of parenting. It's a much needed TOOL. Threatening to take away a kid's access to the internet for Xbox and you tube has proven to be far more effective than a beating!
