I sprayed bug spray to kill a roach by my wifi box and i accidentally sprayed the inside please help

Hi AT&T, i would like to report that i was trying to kill a bug with some bug spray and the bug was by my wifi box and i accidentally sprayed some of the spray in the box and now i have 2 broadbands lights blinking red on my box please help me. thank you very much for understanding my issue.

Well you probably shorted out the box.  But did you at least get the bug?Man LOL 

 

Now you have to "debug" the box, i.e., did you try rebooting it?  If it still fails wait a hour or so hoping that the bug spay evaporates and try again.  If it still fails after that I think you will have to get "creative" telling tech support (800-288-2020) you need a replacement.

I got a chuckle from your post, as it brought back memories. While in the field, I remember a service call to an older woman's home who was having TV issues. I eventually noticed a strong lemon scent coming from the DVR, and after some questioning, found that the woman had sprayed lemon Pledge on her DVR while cleaning. Well, it *was* bright and shiny.... and dead.
