Control Access to Wi-Fi???

I would like to control internet access for specific users on my home router. Is it possible to limit or block certain users through the router (Motorola VAP2500)? AT&T Uverse system.

@Phantom520

The first problem you have is that the Motorola VAP2500 is not a true router. Please provide the type/make/model of the AT&T provided router/gateway. Hint: look for the device that has a cable plugged into it that goes to outdoor telco.

The Gateway is a Pace 5268ACFXN. I was able to access the router with 192.168.1.254 and I found MAC filtering, but cannot enable MAC filtering.

As far as denying access, the best way would be just change the WiFi password. Limiting access would require installing another router downstream (cascaded) from the 5268ac.

Thanks! Would it be possible to disable the 2.4 Ghz band and leave the 5 Ghz band enabled for short periods of time (1-2 hours)?
